Dash top fixingsJ

How does the dash top fix in sounds silly but been apart for years so are they just self tapers with those type of captive flat clips behind,all the old ones were rusted in when removed now I cant remember :?

self tappers and speed clips front edge, edge nearest dash held in pace by padded section which has captive threaded rods, nuts then fit from back of dash/top
