Just heard from the organisers of Devon Dubfest that the second Devon Gathering is definitely ON
On Saturday morning we will once again assemble as many Devon-converted buses as possible, pick up Pat Mitchell and his family, cruise to Sidmouth seafront and put on a display at DDF on our return. On Saturday afternoon, we will have an opportunity to chat with Pat and other ex-employees of the Alexandria Works. I'm also hoping that Jack White's daughter Shirley will be there, as last year.
If you want to join us you'll need a DDF ticket, either for the weekend or a day ticket on Saturday.
DDF is a GREAT event, a show that unashamedly aims to get back to what VW shows were like a few years ago. There's quiet camping in an amazing country house setting, an autojumble, good local bands and singers, a proper show and shine and an all-round chilled atmosphere ideal for families and friends. It's all done for charity not for profit! Check it out here
