Diagonal arm L/R swap -effect on rear wheel camber?

I am wondering if the diagonal arms can be swapped left-to-right to reduce the amount of rear wheel camber on a lowered bus as on an IRS beetle. Anyone try it? I couldn't find much info on this and looking at a a spare set of diagonals I have it looks easily doable with just the bump stop plate to remove and re-weld. Any info is appreciated.

Moving on, I wasn't to happy with the amount of camber on the back end. Despite me being a resto-cal boy at heart, too much camber on the wide backend of a bay just doesn't look right imo.

I read the entire "how to lower your bay window" thread on the samba last weekend (185 pages!) and someone on there mentioned flipping the A arms over side to side, so I did.......

I'm still not entirely happy but it's much better than it was. I've seen pictures of the A arm brackets being repositioned but not entirely sure what's involved except they are cut and rotated upwards. Can anyone shed any more info on this mod?

Thanks Mycha, I'll check with yachty first and find out how much change to expect but it looks like it's worth trying. BTW I (finally) got the 2nd Camper Cookbook, nice to see your Westy in there!

Hey Bob, next month i'm going to place some air-shocks on the rear and i'm also going to try the flipped a-arms hope to loose some camber :!: The camper Cookbook is very cool
