disaster of a tour

I've not been around for a while as we took the van on a tour of france, well that was the plan....

we made it as far as grantham from leeds before throwing a piston ring on the way uphill :shock:

so had to get trailered back oop north, sort the van with a handy garage and get flights to barcelona instead

the plus side is that it's coming back fully rebuilt with a nice pair of twins to breathe through. the bad news is they put it all back together the other day, took it out for a test and theres a knocking in the bottom end under high loads so it's all gotta come back out and be taken to pieces, again! still, once it's all done it should be worth it, the mechanic said it's fest as **** now
