I'm gonna be starting sorting my front brakes etc soon on the bus and have a problem.
If my beam is rust free and bus floor is OK is there any reason why I have to remove the beam to replace suspension/ball joints/brakes/servo etc? (not changing beam)
I can jack one wheel up at a time fine at the minute but cant do the entire bus front, reason below
My drive is sloped, the bus is parked sideways and I cant move it on to any level surface (don't have one and bus isn't driveable)
I also cant turn it the other way to jack end on (which I do with the beetle)as I cant block the driveway with the bus as need daily access. (the bit where is would fit blocks rest of the drive and street parking is a mare.
Im assuming the only bit which needs actually sorted on the beam itself is the needle rollers on the end?
