This is after its first whack with the lowering stick... Something tells me it's not the last!

photo's everyone!!! I actually think it's a illness. I don't think my bus looks low :?

I can understand how lowering becomes an illness for some people. Your bus is seriously low Ash but you still see it as sitting high, a lot like anorexia I guess. :?

I've got a 4 inch king & link beam to go on mine but I will never win a slam war. I plan on doing little notches and subtle tubs but I'll never 'slam' it. Main reason for that is I'm spending a lot of money on a big engine so I need to allow for an oil cooler, deep sump & mondo exhaust. Slammed bus are super cool and can be made practical but if everyone was a hardcore slammer it would just be plain boring.

Plus speaking from experience there is nothing more annoying than crawling along at 15mph because you keep hitting the floor.

See that there would shit me to no end. Sorry John but I couldn't think of anything worse than scraping the hell out of the bottom of my pickup every time I went for a cruise. I've heard some of your horror stories like tearing off the exhaust and I'll pass thanks. Looks cool as hell and I'm glad you've done it. You've basically created one of the most recognised bus' of this era. But it's clearly something for the clinically insane. ;)

the illness has cost me roughly one exhaust a year, hoping the vintage speed will cure the illness.
other than that no dramas. i actually like dragging ass.

I look at mine and still think its not enough too

i've got the full slamwerks notches front and back mine with the K&l beam and front tubs and love it and is still used for camping trips and shows, saying that i would'nt class mine as slammed.

we cant go down at the rear no more without raising the torsion tubes, and so with regret to the question, where does one stop, well here, enoughs enough and as for front unless i chop my spline in half to retub then thats it too!

i do love a good grounding esp in public!!

we love titanium bump stops!

I love uber low, but i use mine for going camping so much that uber low is just not practical and that is the reason why i have a bus, most of the hundreds of places that i visit each year, you couldnt get in with the bus any lower. ;)

Please can we stop all this talk of slamming and lowered buses! Its killing me guys! :-|
Just a couple more weeks is all I keep telling myself!
Been the longest 10 days already!! :-(
Big fan of JTH & Ego's buses. Big inspiration to get mine lowered.

Own a Bay?......Feel the love!

A tip for you all, dont drive around the Isle of Wight, I am only mildly lowered and with 3 up and all our camping gear it scrapped constantly. Not fun at all 2 hours later!

It really is an illness. I have tried to promise myself that I would not spend anymore money lowering my bus this year. Half way through feb and I am struggling already. I want to narrow the rear and have a beam raise of the front.

I need help
