Yes, generally Status VW ones are regarded as good, as are Schofields and some others. I bought one from GSF which fitted ok but had about a foot too much rubber in so I had to cut a section from the bottom.

But as you've found the hard way, buy the best you can aford and fit once!

The JK are **** dood, go with the schofields or status ones 8) the more you spend the better you get on these im afraid. 8)

I've got a spare pair of Status cab door rubbers if you're interested before I send them back (I order two sets for some reason) - They've got a VW part number stamped on them and fit really good ;)

The grey spongy ones are best.

You can cut your rubbers down in thickness. I had to do this on my sliding door. It was sticking out by miles! It's fine now though.

cheers for the offer, let me no what you want for them, did the doors still shut proud?? also what glue did you use

They're £77 plus postage from Status - How does £70 sound and I can take them to Bristol Volksfest with me? Mine have never been fitted, I just doubled up on my order coz I'm a tit!!!!!!!

I've used spray attack glue from B&Q on mine, it's held them well. As for the doors sitting proud, I've had to trim the n/s door seal slightly but you can't see where once it's fitted. The o/s door is shutting fine........

Got to do mine soon, was it the dear ones you bought, about £70 ish for the pair of cab doors.
Im going to learn by other peoples mistakes go straight for the good ones. ;)

took door rubbers of today put back in box and sent back to jk, total ****, took them of before they ripped my hinges of, ok was a rebo, but surely these are still ment to fit, total crap

Hi mate I got status grey ones and they are as said spot on , Although dont stick em on with spray glue not good and can eat away at some rubbers . Use a good contact adhesive like evo stick , Then slam doors shut and leave overnight , Done . :D

Hope this helps buddy :beerchug:

to my knowledge there are two offers. Cheap and cheerful...ie i have to spend two hours with a stanley...or pretty good fit ie i have to spend 30 mins with a stanley...either way they never fit properly... and if you`ve had your doors off for a spray job then hang them right innit

I bought a set from JK once and they were crap. Only buy from Status now...as others have said they are not cheap but the fit and last....

Got to agree with everyone else Dude, Status all the way. If you buy them from a show you'll get some discount. ;)
