Door seals...advice please

Hi...Just started to fit some good quality door seals in the front of my van. After pushing them in nice and tight with a wooden spoon the doors are still very hard to shut and look mis-aligned now. Have not used glue yet so they'll come out easy enough but could do with some useful tips if anyone has any???...

They will be like that for a while mate as the rubber is nice and thick and fresh (compated to old seal that have squashed over the years). They will settle down and squash in after a while.

I have the same too! Even 6 months later the front doors are tight :shock: Been told the bear with it for a few more months.

Cheers guys...looks like I'll be going through quite a few sets of inside door handles untill the seals have bedded in.
