Hi..We have some pretty heavy rain down here in sunny Woking recently. I've noticed that everytime I open the front doors of the van a large amount of water falls or is swept out of the step area. It's as if the door seal is so good it's not letting the water out. There are no rubber mats on my steps or holes to locate them. Questions :-

1. Where is the water most likely to be getting in ?
2. Should there be some kind of drain hole ?

This can't be good for the steps or the bottom of my doors (not to mention my feet as I have to jump out of the way of the wave as the door opens !!

Any advice welcome

1. front vent, windscreen rubbers, top of door, 1/4s' are the likely candidates
2. No.

just go through the cab with a fine tooth comb, dry the cab out and get a hose pipe and someone to assist, try spraying all the likly areas looking for water penetration....it may be handy to use tissue paper as a blotter it helps in locating the small trickles...

the doors themselves have drain holes underneath. rain may be trapped in the doors and draining when you open them. hope this helps.
