I know there's an awful lot about it on theSamba forum ( and I've read it all ), I've also read those two threads on Vzi :

http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=426794" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=296623&page=3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I still can't decide what's the best location for the vacuum port : throttle body or on the carb itself ?

I would appreciate any feedback on this ( especially if you drilled through the throttle body )

Thanks
Paddy :wink:

Well if you'll excuse me 'bigging up' my own post, follow the first VZi thread you mention. You don't have to make a decision on where to put vac port, as solex/kadron have made the decision for you. All passages are there on the left hand carb, you just need to drill out plug on carb and insert a brass vac tube from a vw solex.

Agreed with Fredster above ^^

He drilled my carb, and it works spot on ;)
