Does anybody have any information about machining there own spindles into dropped sprindles? I've got equipment laves etc and a co worker who is extremely good at what he does with years under his belt! I'm not sure if I can quite justify paying £500 if I could do them in house! Id be grateful for any good information to send me in the right direction!

There's a fair bit to it. You have to make an insert to go in the old caster adjustment hole to take a balljoint, machine other end for a castor adjuster, clearance the spindle, machine track rod arms to reverse track rods, machine spindles for balljoints, and if you do it properly, find and machine the correct rated balljoint for a circlip so they don't fall out and then do same for arms. £500 sounds good, I think TH are less, and they come black plated, plus he's done all the research and knows his stuff works.

I think Heritage are doing some dropped spindles that bolt on, no machining.
