Now acquired the first part of the 'early westy tow bar' - the heavy bar complete with the swan neck to tow my 'new' westy trailer. Everyone says the brackets themselves are like hen's teeth, can anyone post either photo's or drawings of how the bar is attached to the underside of their own vans - original preferred but 'engineered' solutions also welcome

Hi David, I have just made a set for mine. I was lucky enough to borrow some originals. They are very basic and consist of the original bumper bracket ends which you will need to cut off and then a flat plate with two holes which bolt to the tow bar, Here is a pic of the ones I made.

The bumper now fits straighter to the van than it ever did on the OG bumper brackets 8)
