What bolts do you guys use to secure the engine valance?
I'd like some shiny ones, stainless.

Are they a standard size and fully threaded or not?

Thanks!

i would presume they are M8 (13mm spanner). As for length i dont know  i would have thought they would be fully threaded ( if you buy from an engineering suppliers, set screws= fully threaded, Bolts= shank/thread  ) as they will only be short 10-20mm. remove one and measure the length from the bottom of the head to the end of the threaded section. if its 20mm long ask for M8X20 etc, always usefull to take one with you to just incase they dont look the same as the ones they give you thread wise. hope this helps.

IIRC they are different lengths. The 2 outside bolts are longer than the 2 inside bolts. I'm not sure on lengths but the are considerably longer then 10 / 20mm more like 70 and 90mm

It also depends what year bus you have, too.

'71 only valences only have two screws on the bodywork, earlier vans have 4 bolts.
