Wat type of seal have you guys installed?
Currently i have kind of a solid rubber tube type and this i pretty difficult to compress by the hatch, i also see the spongy rubber type?!

I fitted a rubber ( hollow D shape),not foam one about 3 years ago and it still takes a good slam or two to close.
Gets on my tits

Yep got a hollow d shape one on mine, think it came from C&C

I fitted a hollow D shape rubber one from C&C about 3 years ago. It still needs a good firm push to shut it.

Same as the others, hollow D shape from C&C. Needs a good push to close the engine lid but it's a good seal. The PO had used a bit of rope from a wood burner

Mine is original and needs a slam or a very firm push to close it, always has done.

I bought one from a guy on here, as did a few others, think its a little different , but its not fitted on my bus yet so cant comment on what its like !

Will try and find the thread
