Can anyone recommend a comprehensive european breakdown cover for a 6 week trip.

I have RAC via my bank account in the UK but they will not cover vehicles in europe over 11 years old.

I have my insurance with Cherished and recently added annual European breakdown cover for £28, seems good to me!

Not sure if you have to have your policy with them too though - surely worth a call?

I'm going over to Bug In and got quoted £130 for 10 days from the RAC, even though we have top cover, it doesn't cover older vehicles.

I too have gone for the European Breakdown Cover with cherished, for £28 per year.

It for the year but cheaper than the RAC. I tried to get cover from the RAC but as you said they don't cover classics and AA won't cover an import unless you have quite a few years of MOTs.
