Fairly urgent - the uber long gear rod ....

The one that is in conduit under the cargor floor with the shuttle cock plastic bits as bushes.......

my question is the end which connects to the gearbox coupler bent? mine appears to be bent slightly down [sort of expected that]
BUT also bent slightly to the near side [drivers LHD]

I'll post a pic but anyone else noticed this? I wonder if it's had a twonk, was hoping to get the new g/box in tonight but maybe won't be able to now!

whilst I'm waiting for camera to charge I found this
it's an odd viewpoint but this is looking at the top the knuckle end is arcing away [which would be downwards] but the rod has a very slight bend to the left [or in this photo we see it as downwards]

Pretty sure mine was curved downwards at the end but not to one side, dont recall it looking like it had been welded like yours though :?

what about the knuckle slightly arcing downwards - this looks to be an ok shape.........
