Fibre glass roof colour

Spoke to the guy who is going to put a new gel coat and spruce my 40 year old pop top roof on my van. Does anyone know the specific colour code for the roof? As he needs that for a match. I have a 71 westfalia.

They werent painted from factory, its just the colour of the fibreglass .... whether or not that is a coded colour or not I dont know?

As Clem said they were in white gel coat from the factory, I think most people paint them the bumper colour which is either cloud white up until 70 my and then pastel or pearl White after that ( can't remember which :lol: :lol: )

I'm popping the roof in on the weekend. Haven't got a full quote as we are not sure exactly the amount of work required. The guy reckons he is going to give it a good clean first. Then it'll be new gel coat. It doesn't look as if any repairs are needed to my untrained eye. I will post developments and costs if thats of interest guys.

Cloud white it is then. I think he wanted a code thouh, any idea guys?

Cumulous white is L680

Silver white was used on wheels and bumpers was L82

so looks now that i'll go with silver white as thats the colour of my bumpers,#
