Fire extinguisher set up

Had my extinguisher installed a few weeks ago and just noticed that there is a safety pin in. I can't find the instructions but am assuming that it won't work unless this pin is removed. Is this correct? Should I take it out?

No , it’s for manual activation only !

It's ok I put it back and zip-tied it in place!
