Fitting a Rusty Lee Rock n' Roll bed

Just to make it absolutely clear, the problem was NOT the bed. I only had problems because i read somewhere that it could be mounted onto the original seatbelt mounts and that wasn't working in my case. I'll write a letter to VW to file a complaint

The bed itself is a quality piece of kit, goes together easy and once figured out where to drill the holes it is super simple to fit.

I changed the title of the thread and hope it is helpful to others wit all the pictures Lee and others posted. I will post some more of the hinge assembly later.

I have a 3/4 to fit, I'll be doing it when I get home from Afghan. Lee made up a little plate for me to mount up my bed as I didn't want to pull the fuel tank out. I have a x-over so my seatbelt mounts are all over the shop.
