I've got a tip for you - ignore the part of the dial between 4,500 and 10,000 RPM, you won't need it!!

Good luck fitting it though, they are cool 8)

Cant help with the fitting side of it but how much and where, looks like a nice little bit of kit, does the light change with gea change ??

got it direct from the USA for £58...got through without having to pay any additional charges. A strong pound helps. Go to this link....

no red lining for me...!

...yes the light does come on telling you when to change gear...youhave to set it up first.

I guess I'm going to have to run a cable the full length of the van...any tips on which route to take?

They look the balls!

First rule is....Dont cut the dash! I got a friend to put mine in when I had some other work done, so cant help you im afraid 8)

as ever mr. easy that looks cool in your van...It is a well cool bit of kit. No dash cutting although I hope the local chavs don't take a liking to it!

Thats the only trouble with them, they are a tad on the large side

They are very accurate and its nice to keep an eye on your revs and if you turn down the light limit, it can come on at what ever rev you set it at and make it look as if your going really fast! brooom brooom! 8)

just ordered mine £85 inc postage, plus any taxes due

Yea its a Helphos spot lamp. There are usually a couple kicking about on ebay.

I has a boxed NOS one that i sold about 4 years back. I've been trying to buy another on ebay but they just seem to go for too much

whats the point though?

They only stick to the screen when not in use ie hold in place.

They are a spot light for pointing at road signs etc... from inside the van.
Often used in rally sports in the old days

They are a way cool accessory! I use it when I am setting up camp if I arrive in the evening etc. Its REALLY powerful and can shine for a long distance :D

I used to collect em and had 4 NOS ones at one stage  all boxed with all the bits n pieces. The one I really want is a red one, but they now go for about £140 odd pounds as they are rare as rocking horse plop.

The difficult bit is to get one with a quality rubber   i managed to get a NOS glass and rubber from Germany a while back, so have it in reserve :D

PS. They are also great for blinding the hell out of chavs when they cut you up!
