My 72 crossover has previously had the front replaced with a high level indicator front. I want to re model back to original, if cutting holes for the indicators, how do they screw to the body?

You could probably do with someone on here doing a full template of the bottom edge of theyre bus.
Indicators removed to get the right shape of the holes etc and possibly front bumper removed.
I saw someone cut the holes etc by eye and it was a shocking job when finnished.

Good idea, has to be spot on! Will also include doing away with the hump for the later badge!

you would be better of looking for indicator rust free cuts with the brackets on and then template from their!

Hi

I have the same problem an early bay with a new front.. I,m also thinking about fitting the early indicators.
But what about the late bay "edge" what is sitting over the front bumper?

Leave it there and place the indicators above?

Schofields sell the indicator brackets so it would just be cutting the hole in the lower panel.

As for the lip that is on the late bay, I cut it off.

For a complete front refit (from late to early), check out my thread in the signature.

We've just fitted a set of the schofields repro indicators to Gvee,s panel van, very good quality and relatively easy to fit if you can weld. Will happily send you dimensions of location, if you look on our Facebook page there's some pics of them fitted
