Hey guys I'm going to be fitting our westfalia roof soon and I'm thinking first step will be drilling the holes in the roof for the hinges to bolt on, so does anyone know what distance form the front of the van do the holes need to be
or is it just a pop the roof on and mark it out job?

Also I still need some struts for it, so does anyone have any advice for me where the best place to buy some?

Thanks Dan

Can't help with the holes but buttysbits sells the struts https://www.buttysbits.com/product-category/bay-window/westfalia-parts/

No I haven't. I've had the throttle linkage and seat brackets from buttys and both were absolutely spot on (rare for new parts!). I would hope that these are the same
