In beautiful Porsche slate grey metallic, with pop up headlights, original Teledial (phone dial) alloy wheels and a full stainless steel exhaust system. The original owners manual is present, as is a comprehensive service history and all old MOT certificates. The S model is a much rarer car than the standard 2.5 or 2.7 944, having a far more advanced 16v engine, the 944S has almost 200bhp and much more torque throughout the rev range.

- Exterior:

Overall in very good condition, bodywork is very straight and shines up beautifully, all glass in perfect condition, front end/wing mirrors have minor stone chips as expected for car of this vintage, small rust bubbles appearing on very rear of the passenger side sill (non structural) and a few hardly-noticeable car park dings (this is me being fussy). All of the alloys are original and in good condition with matching Goodyear Eagle F1s all round with plenty of tread. Pop up headlights work instantly and smoothly, all other lights in perfect working order, as are the headlamp washers.

- Interior:

Excellent condition interior with no signs of wear on the pinstriped seats or door cards, cream carpets all round in generally good condition, with a few small marks in the boot area. Central locking, electric windows, electric wing mirrors, electric tilting/removable sunroof panel, electronic boot release, electrically adjustable seats, immobiliser and power steering all in full working order (except the clock display, of course), original Blaupunkt cassette radio in place and in perfect working order. Folding rear seat backs with integrated luggage cover, leather cover for the removable roof panel is in excellent condition as are the tie-down straps. Space saver spare wheel also present with original tyre, never used, as is the original factory-supplied toolkit & jack.

- Mechanical:

Car passed the MOT around a month ago with no advisories. It has recently had a complete top end rebuild by a well known Porsche specialist at great cost (receipts included), this also included a new water pump, all belts, chains, tensioners and rollers, hall sensor and a full service. As such the engine performs faultlessly and smoothly, the car drives fantastically, with no knocks or noises from the suspension or steering, and with almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution, handles very well indeed. She has been very well cared for and maintained over the years, as the service history shows, and she even averages around 25mpg-28mpg depending on route.

Overall this is a beautiful modern classic in great condition that is a joy to drive, whilst also reliable and surprisingly practical to use as an everyday car.

Very reluctant sale, just returned to Uni as a mature student, and need to sell this to fund finishing my '71 bay project!

Thanks for looking :)
