I'm posting this on behalf of a nice gentleman, Walter Pettman, i met at the Volkworld Show this year. He seemed very genuine and wanted to sell his van for personal reasons. Please direct all questions to him, please do not PM me. I dont accept any responsibility for this listing but here goes.
FOR SALE
1972 Earlybay Devon blue/white with 146K miles.
New MOT tax Exempt. New Sills welded last year. Original Securit windows all round. I have owned this bus since 1986 and its on its second engine with around 35K on it. It Starts well has some surface rust but nothing serious.
Its a fine example of an early Devon and was well looked after in its lifetime, The Devon conversion has the table, gas stove on its own folding table (2 rings and gas bottles) Folding double bed, full upholstery and storage unit under the seat. Needs new curtains. There is an after market sunroof above the drivers head in perfect working order with no leaks.
This bus has been used to take me to Europe and back for charity work on many occasions and has been a reliable friend for 25 years. I will regret the sale but am looking to find a good home for her.
