Front seats (dumb question?)

Do the runners for the OG front seats bolt down thru the wheel tubs etc or are they welded... :?:
I bought my bus with metro seats in.....nice. Replaced with MG Midget(so the breadknife could reach the pedals) but after seeing some of the awesome interiors on here I gotta fit some originals back in.

Guess like everything else it's a case of cutting some out of a front clip.
