I tore mine off because of this and even if you are lucky enough to keep it in place when you hit a big bump they make an awful racket as they drag on the tarmac.
If this is the case you can still fit one but you need to flip it over and mount it to the top of the torsion link (I have done this). You also need to remove all of the bump stop mounts to give clearance for this configuration.
It will have had one as standard but will have been removed when the spindles went on.

Does this setup get in the way of the bar somehow then?
Fitting it made a big improvement in the handling
