Hi am confused!

The front offside cab step bit of the arch (the bit the side bumper boltsd too) is rotten and i need a new inner and outer - what is the best bet.Just Kampers repair panels or a second-hand one? Can I get one as mine is a crossover??

thanks in advance

Well if you can get some solid old ones that is always the best bet but most on here say A H Schofield is a really good place to get repair panels

yes, i think i will give alan a go as i had my front panel off him a few years ago - maybe its me but i have had a few problems with JK stuff so I am a little wary of panels from them. perhaps it is just me??

thanks

I think (and dont hold me to this) but they are baz panels which don't every fit that well.

i will probably go to vw heritage instead as alan schofield's website is dead and the phone line does not work. i am told you cant get a crossover front wheel arch so i have to buy an early one and chop the cab step off??

a cut from a solid van is always better and will always fit unlike replica panels. Pay more on the original panel and pay less in welding bills. It all works out the same in the end, but the result is an original part with a better fit...just my opinion. Try the usual suspects volksheaven, fbi, nosvw, transporterhaus. Search and ye will find
