For sale, four secondhand red-banded (by Ant when originally on his Bus) 195/50x15 tyres for sale. There are 2 Champiros, 1 Bravarius and one, I can't even pronounce... They've all got plenty of meat on them and should do someone for a good few miles. Open to offers and will even throw in a Goodyear 185/65x15 that came off a steelie I bought as a spare.

Can take to Stamford Hall this weekend.

Can't upload pics here for some reason but have some that can email.

Change of plan Jim?

i was looking forward to seeing them on your bus.

The tyres when i sold them in feb all had loads of tread and had never been puncture repaired and all had even wear. I guessing jim hasn't put to many miles on them since then?

Hey Ant,

No change of plans as such but it was a little too undergeared with the 195/50s. Also, when I had it lowered, they set the heights based on larger rear/smaller front to get the rake right. So while it looked awesome with the 195s, it sat nose high. With 185/65 rear and 175/55 front (recommended), it does actually sit flat. Haven't had it out on the roads yet, as the new rubber only went on today but we'll see.

Looks good now but not sure AS good...

How's things? You at Stamford Hall at the weekend?

J

ps - you were right - it looks top with the rims on...

pps - any idea why I can't add pics? Trying to add some of it with the rims on...

Ant,

Thanks for putting the pics up and I'm glad you like it - I'm loving the wheels - thanks again.

I guess I could have gone just larger at the back but those sizes were recommended to me by a pro and as a bit of a newbie, I kinda went with what they said. They also said that I ought to be able to lower it a bit more if I want to but I'm gonna run it for a bit as it is and see what catches - got some ferry trips lined up for the summer and don't want to leave anything on the boarding ramp or in faraway campsites!

Thanks again and maybe see you at Stamford Hall?

Jim
