Gearbox addapter kit ?

Hi I have recently bought a AH code gear box from a super beetle and 1760cc engine for my early bay and have been given mixed advice on how to install it and with what addapter kit .??
Is the addapter needed for cradling the gearbox ?? Or linking to the gear stick ??
I'm not mechanical minded and need to relay any advice to my mechanic ...
If needed where are these addapter available ?

you can lengthen the shift road and adapt the original mount. There was someone selling adaptors for the shift rod and bowden tube at some point. But you don't necessarily need it you can do it all with vw parts except for the shift rod that just needs extending about 18mm if i remember right.
Oh and the original mount can be cut and redialled to fit the beetle box.
