Hi all
I recently fitted a gearshift plate from jk to improve gear change. On Thursday after a good run it started popping out of 2nd gear. It was fine as long as I held the gear in place with minimal pressure. Friday I drove 150 miles to Ledbury without issue but this evening on the return trip, 4th gear sound unusual, not grinding but 'heavy'. Pulling into the services the box seemed tight and had a small judder in first. I adjusted the plate again thinking this was the cause only for it to become stuck in 4th gear. It does release with encouragement but given previous I'm not risking the rest of the journey.
I'm planning on changing the nylon bushes and rear coupling on the linkage. Can anyone advise if there is anything else to look out for while I'm there.
Thank you in advance.
