Head Rests?

Anyone got stock seats with head rests?

I'm sure i've seen them on a bus before or have I dreamt this?

I once had a Late Bay ('79 moonraker) which had front seats with built in head rests, not sure i've seen 'em on an early bay.

You could get slip on head rests but very hard to come by.

I too would like a matching pair but either tricky to get hold of.

PS seen pics of the head rests in red to match your interior but you will have a better chance of winning the lottery me thinks than getting a pair.

I seem to remember that the White Devon had at least one red headrest. Don't know who now owns it but PM Clem as he is organising the line up at Volksworld and this shall be there.

Get the owners name and ask for some pics .

PS good luck with the challange as they would really go well with your interior.

They were a vw product. Mine have a volkswagen label on the back.

I think mine were initially sold for a type 3 but still fitted the bay. The issue was the catch on the passenger seat where it attached to the bulk head. Luckily there is a little zip in the vinyl so we didn't have to cut one!

I will post pics when i go and take some!

The late bay ones in the pic are different and fixed to the seat similar to modern cars. ( well they look like it to me )

We got ours a couple of years ago from VZi. I think i paid £25 as one needs repairing (the stitching has come undone)

On the back they have a label that says 'supplied by volkswagen GB limited'

Either need to get black covers for the seats or cover the headrests in cream!
