Heater levers removal

Is there an easy way of removing the heater levers. Ta

Pop out the white plastic pins that hold them into the main levers using a small socket.
Fig 8.4, Page 51 Haynes manual.

Thanks sparkywig will try the small socket, had looked in the Haynes but it just shows him holding the pin.

I used a small pry bar to get enough force on the plastic pins. They're a real sod to do with just your hands.

Thanks for the reply georgeyv, did manage to get a screwdriver behind the clip but thought it was going to snap will see if there available and then try again

Socket method works for me as if you use the right size it pushes the pins back together so it can then be removed.

I’m not sure but I’m think I used a 5 or 5.5mm socket (it’s been a while since I had it apart)

To be honest, I never replaced the pins when refitting the levers. They haven't come loose in 7 years.
