Help fitting interior panels!!!

Afternoon everyone

I have finally got to the point where I need to fit my interior trim panels but I am struggling.

I have ordered all the clips and rubber bungs from VWH, I have ordered the 6mm plugs and bungs.

My problem is getting the clips in and lined up. Is there a kick to doing it?

I seem to be bracing more clips than getting anything fitted.

Check your existing hole sizes. From memory mine were all to small and I had to re-drill them all to suit the UK bungs and clips. Otherwise they such just fit in with a firm push.

Do not drill your interior out. The correct size bungs and plugs are the 6mm ones you have. The problem is suppliers have been selling the 7-8mm beetle bungs and plugs as bus ones for years. As a result, people have been drilling out there interiors for years.

Lining up the clips to the plugs is a pig of a job. Sorry I can't give any tips to getting it right. Are you sure you have the 6mm clips?

Yer got the 6mm jobless from VWH. :-( Gave up as I was getting extremely pissed off. Will have another crack this weekend when I get back from work
