Hi guys

I bought a pair of the brake adjuster springs that stop the star adjusters from unwinding from JK. The trouble is they are totally different and seem to bend the wrong way to the original type.
Am I missing something obvious or has anyone had the same problems?

There are are 2 versions of these:
211 609 485 A = leaf spring adjusting device, rear to chassis # 210 2300 000.
211 609 485 B = leaf spring adjusting device, rear from chassis # 211 2000 001.
Judging from your avatar you would need the earlier one.
Maybe you have been sent the later one.
Heritage would appear to sell both:

I had a similar issue in that I couldn`t get early back plates and had to modify some later ones and that was one of the mods I had to do. An old friend who was an engineer knocked them up for me in a jiffy, unfortunately he`s long gone now but I`m sure he used an old hacksaw blade but I may be mistaken. From memory that was pretty much how it was that they were completely the wrong shape on the new back plates.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Good luck
