Picked up a cab bunk this week off e-bay where it was advertised as 'EarlyBay' Checked the length before buying and at 56 1/4 " seemed spot on. In fairness the poles and the canvas are in super condition as per description but alas it doesn't fit my westy. Would like to offer up via the forum first just to cover my costs, but need to ID first. Canvas is 36" wide and 52 1/2" long. If no takers will put back up on ebay with a more accurate description I hope. So much to learn ... perhaps start a new thread on 'muppet' early purchases!

They are tricky to fit, you sure its wrong?

Pretty certain, biggest clue is comparing the pole ends with other photos + the canvas is way to taut to be useable. Loved to be proved wrong though!

The Pole ends look the same as mine, i guess if it dont fit, it dont fit :!:

Someone else may be able to shed some light.....

does the end of one pole look like it has had tape round it at some point, on my 1970 westy which has the same cot as yours there is green tape on the end of the pole and the front RH A pillar bracket. I think this is because the cot poles front to back are different lengths.

Also fit the poles from the bottom of the pillar brackets, these are a pit of a shove to get in. Your cot looks like an early one, the later ones have pressed C section poles. Canvas is tight when fitted.

Hope this helps

Looks the same as mine (69 Westy).

What year year is your bus?
What is stopping it from fitting? ie. poles too short, fabric too tight, clips in the wrong place....

Have you got pics of the mounting clips in your bus?

Agree with everyone else, the poles look right (different types where made I understandor should that be mine are different :?: ), you do need to fight them to get them in I have always put the fronts in first and then the rears, the one by the slider last as the last one is the hardest and you have more room to move around by the slider.
