help required fitting gas heater

HI, i need some help , first has anybody seen one of these fitteed to a bus before? secondly which parts go in the van and which parts go outside cheers lee

What powers the unit, Gas?

I would say the 2 bits top left go inside the heater shell itself as the big one looks like its got the ignition unit on it and this attaches to the one next to it. The one top right looks like a seal to the floor and I would say the other would go outside as the intake/outlet but not 100% sure.

Do I presume it wasn't assembled when you got your van?

hi, sorry im fitting the interior to my microbus the gas heater came as it is now cheers

Invest in a newer, safer, smaller unit like a propex, If you get the install wrong its not going to be a happy ending :wink:

WHS^^^ or if you want this type of heater theres plenty of smaller caravan heaters new and second hand on the market...

that as it stands looks like and accident about to happen....

if you want to persist get a gas fitter to service and fit it wont cost too much and atleast you get peace of mind....

no its an old caravan heater... and they get damned warm....

I had something like this installed under the floor, thought it was ugly and didn't even want to know if it worked. It looked unsafe so i binned it. Maybe it was worth money but I doubt it.
