Hi.

Wondering if somebody could clarify whether this Vewib branded filter should sit flush inside the tank outlet hole or whether there is a crush washer sort of built into the filter? My bus didn't have one before I restored my tank and so I am unsure how it's supposed to fit. The guy at custom and commercial said it should sit flush but it just will not fit into my tank. The outlet hole is clean and not warped in any way

This is the parts diagram (no 19 and 20 on diagram)

This is the part

Thanks for any pointers. Want to make sure it's fitted correctly for obvious reasons!

Chris.

From what I remember when fitting mine, the washer type end of the filter acts a bit like a crush washer between the flat part of the outlet pipe and the tank, then the nut holds it all in place?
I has to be held in with the pipe or it would get washed off the pipe by the fuel.
Hope that's right and helps!
Cheers
Al

Thanks. Think the part I had may have been poorly made. Another is on its way. Just want to make sure it's safe as my bus didn't have a filter in place when I got it.

Chris.
