Help with my front door handles

I've recently fitted ne door seals (the good ones) and wonder if beacuase the doors are hard to shut if could be effecting my handle locks .I can lock both driver and passenger door handles but can't seem to unlock them .Ive tried applying pressure against the door but it doesn't help .Anyone have any ideas ?

If you mean your key does not unlock the door any more my first thought would be the little return springs in the door mechanism that tend to snap over time, especially if you have had to slam your doors harder after fitting new rubber.

Same thing happens to me occasionally I give a little thump above the handle that sorts mine out
