HELPPPP! mAIN bEAM

Got a problem with my lights. Got side lights, dipped beam but when i go to use main beam it just flashes then goes back to dipped lights, can hear the flasher realy click.

Anybody got any ideas.

MOT NXT WEDS not that im cacking it!!

guessing here but problems I've had in past with indicators have been:

1. water in indicator housing
2. water in relay / rusty relay
3. dodgy earth behind housing
and
4. one bulb dodgy making weird stuff happen

Try replacing the relay?

Yea as the other guys say, replace the relay and then go from there.

change the relay and check the earths.

my full beam stopped working one day, i checked all the usual then traced the wires, the main power lead to the fuse box had dissapered!
not fallen off or gone down the front panel, it just wasnt there anymore?
still confuses me that one! :shock:
it had been working fine for a few years before?

Thanks for your advice. Was the realy, took apart ane watched it. Was'nt staying down on the on position. MOT 2morrow Cant get one locally so off to borrow one from a mates van for the day. Hopfully his works.
