simon should be taking the red9 bus to stonor, i belive they are trading there.
you can have a good old prod n poke

I'm saving for this... great feedback. I'm hoping to order this kit by the end of June.

I would still love to see some pictures of the stance of a bus with this kit installed.

Great thread..read all of it and started wondering: this new set up makes the old one redundant? I mean, I was pratically aboutto order the previous kit, but then, all the concerns about all the weight on the bolts,etc,etc...does this mean that the other kit (which I think is still for sale) is a lot worse? I really find this new kit amazing, and as it has been said before, if you can also "discard" the wanderin´steering box then it really starts making a lot of sense!
Chapeau, Simon!

the old kit isnt redundent but its just a lowering kit, hence its still avalible.
also on a side note over 1000 of the E Z rider kits have been sold!

the new set up is a wishbone front end, with steering rack so its dragging the front into the 21st century. its basic evolution!
seriously tho the standard set up is a great piece of kit but wishbone technology is just better thats why hot rodders, kit cars n performance cars use it
as far as im concerned anything that make my bus easier to drive is a bonus, plus all the parts are out of the vw parts bin so its easy to replace worn items ;)

trust me, ive got to be inpressed to put my hand in my pocket for that kinda price  ;)

Oh ****! Now that I had made up my mind and saved for the previous kit, here come the hesitations again...I really think that considering the price of new steering it makes a lot of sense..only right now I cant reach find enough small change in my pants to fork out 1350 sheets :?

This setup looks really good, what brakes would people recommend to use with it? As a brake upgrade is next on my to-do list so kind of makes sense to do it all together. I'd like to keep the wide 5 pattern to keep it looking stock.

I got red 9 to quote me brakes to as part of the set up they can offer late bay disks really cheaply i'm not sure how much extra it was or how good late bay disks are thou?

Really friendly helpful guys at Red 9 to just a shame my budgets been hijacked by other less interesting things!

I think they can supply wide 5 adapters, they have made the width of the beam 40mm narrower to accomodate for this or wider wheels.

I met Simon and his dad at Bristol and was extremely impressed, one with the quality and two with their knowledge and honesty.

I wish they di their rack as a bolt on

ordering this kit today for my LHD '71... :) Along with the 4" drop plates for the rear...

Happy day... very happy day!
