ID hubcaps

How can you tell if hub caps are original or repro? I get that OG are probably heavier but is there a definite way? Cheers

So hard unless you have the two together to feel the difference. If its chromed and a bit rusty then it`ll be a repro. The repro ones don`t quite fit no matter what you do but only a smudge. The bit that sits in the rim is lighter / too on the newer ones.
