I was dismantling the front suspension, steering rods, gear shift, handbrake cables etc and two parts fell down while i was doing it! I have no idea where they came form or what they`re for!

Can any one help -

The short plain rod fell out of the shift rod as i manouvered it past the beam to get it out - it was literally inside it and slid out - i`ve never seen one before - i`m not even sure it was meant to be there!

The second with two holes fell down from somewhere near the brake/clutch pedals or handbrake area - i think i was trying to disconnect the clutch cable at the time. The two hoels possibly for cables maybe!?

Here they are - thanks

The one with the two holes is from the bottom of the handbrake leaver where the two cables come through for adjustment
the other looks like the pivot pin for the top of the handbrake lever but not sure
the last one is a 15mm drop forged open ended spanner very useful for removing 15mm nuts

Ah ha, many thanks - I always wondered what those spanner things were for - very useful!

I'll check the hand brake pin - maybe a previous owner dropped one - down the gear shift rod somehow!?
