What has anyone used to insulated the inside of their bus?? Worried about trapping moisture but want some sound/heat proofing for the sides etc.
:?
No one fitted the Flat4 banjo to their bus??

I have a new front panel with small badge bump, anyone smoothed this off? or just put the larger early badge over the top or please not fit the later small one? :x

advice please

On the advice of another club member who already tried these, I'm using foil-backed roll up camping mattresses from Lidl, £3 per roll and covers about 2 square metres each.

They are closed cell foam (so good for noise proofing), fire proof, moisture resistant and heat reflective and are about 12mm thick perfect for backing panels and sound deadening.

I bought out the whole shop out of them (about 12 rolls or so were left), i did get some strange looks at the checkout :p . Hopefully i wont need them all

They are usually in stock around spring time when lidl get all their camping accessories in.

I was thinking about going down thie route for insulation

May need a bit more research as it does absorb moisture but if they line T4's with it!

cool... have you seen Cheech and Chong - 'Up in Smoke' :p , that Hemp t4 made me think of that.

lash it with a waxoyl first, it helps and smells lovely

I'd seen the wool/hemp stuff (expensive) and was too worried about the fact it absorbs the moisture.....T5's maybe drier inside than a T2???? Especially with the world renowned heating system a T2 has, would it ever dry?

Yea checking regularly seems a good idea as that is exactly what you dont want...hmmmm eau de waxoil... :?
