I,m no expert on vehicle hydraulics, but do a fair bit of repairing hydraulic lifting equipment, sounds to me like the rams are at the end of the stroke & a releif valve is squeeling????
Saw a mates split 5 years ago on hydraulics & it never made them noises though..

Perfectly possible if it was made between 1st sept '72 and 31st dec '72

But yes, it's no early van.

Yes but then its a "73" by model..... which is the norm when its classified...

Petrol filler has flap same place as crossover 72's
"late bays" have no flap
So probably tax exempt
