hi everybody i have a january 1968 sunroof deluxe
on my m plate the interior colors are LIGHT SAND/KHAKI BROWN LEATHERETTE
my question is. is there another name for light sand i cant seem to find covers anywhere

The modern TMI colours are closest to your colours are probably beige and saddle. Mine look like a sand colour, but they darkened a lot over the years. It is best to rip off some upholstery from an area which has never been exposed to daylight and match it up to a modern TMI colour. The VW heritage swatches are a good size and you should be able to get your exact colour.

I had a small hole in every pair of trousers/shorts I owned where a spring stuck through my seat base :lol:

They were the 68 tan/saddle seats. After ages and ages I bought a complete microbus interior just for the cab seats :roll: and I think Ive replaced almost all my strides now too! 8)
