I am going to remove my Westy interior & do a custom build.

Has anyone got pictures of nice interiors? I could make one from scratch, I have a few ideas but could do with some more...

some nice stuff on hear. http://www.busfurniture.co.uk i like the 1300 quid one i think i might have a go at doing it myself

I first saw that circular interior at Vanfest a couple of years ago - it does look good, but I wouldn't want to loose my walk through!
I haven't got an interior in my bus at the mo' so I'll definately have a go at building my own - my brother in law is a boatbuilder too so I'll rope him in 8)

;)

I have just bought a mint 71 bay but the interior had seen better days and i decided to replace it...thats when i got the shock of just how much some companies charge for this and then the waiting list is huge...but the work does look very good of course!

My girlfriends dad is doing a fantastic job on my interior so much so that it might be worth him doing it as a little business now his getting closer to retirement(luckily he wont be reading this!!!), ive decided to do away with the walk through having another bench seat which will face the normal bench seat, then all the cabinets along the back, smev stove n sink, fridge plus a back cupboard and overhead cupboard...its looking brilliant and the two seats use the table which lowers on its leg to make the bed.

I'll post some pics up when its finished!

My westy cabinets have seen better days, so I am refacing them with Beech effect contiboard from Focus Diy and making new buddy seats as I don't find the westy ones that comfortable.

I ended up building my own for our bus. It's just a basic full width rock and roll bed, with a box seat that opens up next to it, so it sort of forms an L-Shaped interior. I then made my own cushions out of foam, hardboard and leatherette, as well as my own door cards.

It's definately a much cheaper option. In total all the door cards and panels (9 in total), all the necessary seat cushions (6 in total) and the actual wood to make all the furniture, cost me under £100.

yep, the inside of our bus is going to work out a bargain. i just wanted seat space, a big bed and enough storage for our bits. ours is a tin top so we cant stand in there to cook or wash up so i didnt see much point having the kitchen bit put in there, we can do all that in the gazzy-bo outside :)
