Had this a couple of times now where the alternator warning light comes on for about 15 minutes. Stopped the van and checked the fan belt which is fine, both times I haven't had my multimeter to check the output. After about 15 mins it goes off again. Both times have been after a longish drive of 1 hour+. I'm thinking either a loose wire or the external regulator might be on it's way out. Is there any way to check the regulator?
