Guys
Am new to the area and wondered if these guys were good and what sort of money it costs for an hour on the road.
Im running a 1641 with twin 40s and have a monster flat spot.
Do you think this will cure it or am i missing something simple,
Cheers

Hi

Interpro have been about for ages and I still hear good things. Join the Old Volks Club and get a discount from Interpro to boot!

Not sure of the cost but it usually aint cheap, but worth the money IMO

Good Luck CB

I used Interpro a few years back for my Triumph Vitesse. I got the impression that if you drove an Imprezza or Ford Cosworth then fine, but they didn't have a bloody clue about carburettors, points, dwell angles, or anything remotely 'old'.

They had my car on two occasions and still couldn't get it running right. They handed it back saying that it was as good as they could get it, and charged me a fortune. I eventually got it set up better myself with a dwell meter and timing gun.

As I said, this was a few years back and wasn't on a VW, so things may well be different now.

They certainly have changed to be sure, there is one guy there who owns and has owned many dubs including a bay with full fuel managment and out performed most modern cars I have seen.

They are building a 1776 for my notch using carbs from a AC Cobra and CB hex linkage! plus the added benefit of a custom hand choke

At The Old Volks Club the majority of us get our dubs serviced / mot`d / engine builds / tune ups / carbs balanced / welded and anything else really. Wether its a barndoor split / early bay / type 3 they will sort it. The added advantage of the rolling road is that if you get your van set up on it the performance is spot on. Over 50 of us have used them over the past few years and NEVER had a problem.

Highly reccomended and quality work. Especially from a dedicated VW guy who knows what works and what doesnt.

I think they are quite well priced. Go to Raceshack for the day and see what you get charged, not knocking Raceshack but their prices are a tad steep for me. 8)

Give em a call and ask for Jason, he is the VW guy. 8)
