How bad is the rest of the panel? 8)
 
Thinking bare metal it and see what the panel is looking like you can always do the lower inner and outer section if required

That looks better than 95% of the ones that come in to the yard! I've cut much worse ones off and sold them! I agree with currylager absolutely...speaking of lager now back to my Chimay blue...

Get it bare metaled dooder and then see what your up against, looks far from a new clip needed 8)

get the right wheel for your grinder ( a flapper :wink: ) do it like that if i was you. Less of a mess than any paint remover 8)

Arr right, so you guys are talking about cutting the lower section of the clip off first then flap disking it?

I was thinking of pushing some chemical in the indicator holes...

Hold your horses chap. Dont cut the bottom off yet! take the paint off of the whole front and see what your dealing with (get that screw driver out and have a dig!) if the bottom is looking anyway crusty then cut off and replace. 8)

Arr I see, roger that, work commences in a week during the xmas break, im just getting all the parts together and knowledge 8)
 
I used nitromors get yourself a big 5 litre can and get to it with that where goggles gloves etc though cos it stings like hell

Sticky and smelly :wink: :lol: i prefer the way that annoys you neighbours for a couple of days :lol: :wink:
 
get a sanding type disc from halfrauds.


does this with no mess...

its clean as a whistle, the shading is dust. no sticky mess to clean up just ALOT of paint dust. 8)
