Took the Eurotunnel and drove to Chambery. Stayed overnight the hit the Frejus tunnel through the mountains. Arrived in Bolsena the following day at 4:30. 1100 miles. The bus didn't miss a beat. Like a celebrity- people on the autoroute taking photos.
I'm driving a 1972,low light, with a subaru 2.0 litre conversion by TSR. Had it from new. 3 vw engines in 140,000 miles.
Now cruises on autoroutes at 85 mph! It's a Devon Devonette. I completely recommend and Kevin at TSR.
I can't upload pictures as they are all too big. Any suggestions how I can show pictures ?

you've had the 1972 bus from new or just the engine conversion? :?

if the former then you're still pretty fit to be driving that distance at these speeds.

or maybe just plain daft............. ;)

i've just tried to use the upload pic facility here (for the first time ever) and i get: " sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached". :?:

generally people use photobucket or suchlike to post pics on forums.

Yep - as above, upload your photos to a hosting site like photobucket (its free)
Once pics are uploaded on the right hand side of the screen there will be an code - copy and paste that into your post and boom your pic will appear.
Its one [img] code per image!
